The gold and silver rates published on this website are indicative. They are derived from a third-party market data provider and, for city pages, adjusted by a configured local premium. They are not quotations, and no jeweller, dealer or lender is bound by them.

Actual prices you are offered will vary with:

• Local market conditions on the day
• The individual jeweller or dealer
• Making charges
• Wastage
• GST and other applicable taxes
• Local premiums
• Product design and craftsmanship
• Any other charges the seller applies

City rates are benchmark-derived

No national spot feed independently measures a separate rate for every Indian city. Where we publish a city rate, it is the national benchmark plus a configured local adjustment for that city. We label this on every city page, and the adjustment is visible in the page's rate breakdown.

When data is unavailable

If our rate provider cannot be reached, GoldVarta shows the last successful update along with its timestamp, or an explicit "rate unavailable" state. We do not substitute an estimated, interpolated or placeholder figure for a real one.
